I grew up watching my grandparents run restaurants, my mom run a catering business, and my dad work as a sushi chef, so I've always been around the hospitality industry. I followed their footsteps working in countless restaurants and the idea of prioritizing and understanding a customer just seemed to accompany me throughout my life.

But I also developed my own interests in fashion, music, games, basketball, and I realized I had a creative side to me.

While exploring career options, I found design, more specifically, ui/ux! I do think it's kind of a stretch to say my experiences within the hospitality sector directly paved this path, but I like to believe there is some truth to it - that those experiences shaped how I see people, creativity, and connection.
